    Huitian® 1320H high-performance acrylate structural adhesive is a two-component, blue, high toughness, fast-curing methacrylate acid adhesive. Suitable for thermoplastic, metal, and composite material self-adhesion and mutual adhesion. Medium viscosity and high thixotropic, non-sagging, mixing ratio 10:1, operating time 3-6 minutes, reaching 75% strength for 6-10 minutes. Suitable for bonding composite materials, good impact resistance and fatigue resistance, and excellent water resistance.


    Typical Applications

    Structural bonding for composite structures in transportation vehicles, yachts and other products

    Bonding materials: carbon fiber, ABS, fiberglass, polyester (with DCPD modification), polystyrene, polyvinyl ester, PVC, polyurethane, gelcoat, plexiglass, and aluminum alloy.

    Medium-resistance properties

    Resistance to PH 3-10 acid and alkali, hydrocarbon, salt solution. No resistance to polar solutions, strong acids, and alkalis.


    Directions for use

    Surface treatment: Clean dust, water, oil, etc. to keep the bonding surface clean. Carbon steel, and stainless steel are recommended to use Huitian primer 1020.

    Glue mixing:

    Full mixing by mixing nozzle with fixed mixing ratio, glue is applied manually, pneumatically or by equipment.

    Glue application:

    The optimum curing effect can be achieved at 18℃-27℃. Below 18℃ curing slows down, above 27℃ curing speed up. The viscosity of components A and B is also affected by temperature. To ensure consistency of mixing in metering/mixing equipment, both components are stored at a constant temperature. Gluing must be completed within the selected adhesive operating time. The amount of glue should be sufficient to ensure adequate filling. The gluing and positioning of the workpiece must be completed accurately before the end of the operating time, and then the workpiece must be held in place until the end of the positioning time before it can be removed.

    Clean-up:

    It can be easily cleaned up before curing and the best results can be achieved by cleaning with citric acid terpene resin or NMP scrubbing agent or degreasing agent.


    Cautions

    1. Keep this product away from flame, high heat, and sparks.

    2. The materials that cannot be bonded include: PP, PE, POM (polyformaldehyde), PTFE (Teflon), copper, brass.

    3. All mixing equipment should be selected from stainless steel, aluminum, Teflon, or PE. Packing and pump should not be made of copper or copper alloy. Sealing ring should be made of Teflon, Teflon-covered PVC, PE/PP, and must not use VITON, nitrile rubber, neoprene, or other elastomers.

    4. This product cures quickly and generates a lot of heat when mixed in large quantities, which may be accompanied by the release of volatiles such as gas and steam. For this reason, each time mixing should be limited to the amount that can be used up within the operating time.

    5. Long-term storage above 24°C will shorten the storage life of both components. Avoid storing the B component or the cartridge containing the B component in an environment above 37°C for too long, as this will greatly reduce the reactivity of this component. Storing at 7°C - 12°C will extend the storage period.

    6. Store away from children. Recommended for use in a well-ventilated area. In case of accidental contact with eyes and skin, rinse immediately with water and if necessary, go to hospital for examination.
